Pastel pencil drawing of an Indian Paintbrush was based on a photo I took in 2023 in Pattee Creek Recreation Area here in Missoula. It was growing along the trail and was lighted by a strong raking beam of sunlight that really helped set it offagainst the darker green background. It was glowing in the sunlight and immediately grabbed my attention.
The prints are made by the artist here in Missoula, Montana on acid-free fine art matte paper with pigment-based archival inks.
