Wildflowers of Montana

I decided to try to overcome my botany phobia and embark on a survey of the common wildflowers found in Western Montana as well as other parts of the Rocky Mountains. These were researched from a botanical perspective with accurate numbers of leaves, stamen, petals, etc. along with a close color study of each plant as I recall seeing them in the wild as far as coloring and posture. Hopefully, others will be reminded of their own discoveries of the wildflowers of Montana.

The prints are made by the artist here in Missoula, Montana on acid-free fine art matte paper with pigment-based archival inks.
