Hand made in Montana, this letter opener is crafted using a progressive angular cutting and joining technique. The hardwoods used are finished with a clear coating, allowing the natural grain and texture of the wood to be seen and felt. An occasional polish or wax will maintain the beauty of the wood. The exceptionally hard wood used in the blade may be sharpened using fine sandpaper, or an emery board. Apply a furniture oil or wax on the fresh edge.
Letters openers average 9" long, with a 4 1/4" blade and 4 3/4" handle.
